IST is very happy to have received a glowing email of thanks from the director of the SPA Toulouse, Nathalie ITHIER.  Here is what Nathalie wrote:

 “On behalf of the SPA of Toulouse, I wanted to present to you all our best wishes for the year 2016 and to especially thank the school and families for the donations of beds and other items for the dogs and cats in our care.  The generosity of your institution is remarkable. Students and teachers helped to bring much comfort to our residents.  This support from you reveals an exceptional spirit of solidarity and a willingness to work as a team toward a common goal.  For all these reasons, we sincerely appreciate your involvement with us”.

As one of their CAS projects Antonia Scholz, Grace and Martha Stanley and Bryce Freer worked with Mrs. Wilkins to make 120 dog beds using the materials provided by the IST community. Although there are 350 dogs waiting to find homes, this is still a significant number and will have a real impact. These students will continue to contribute to the SPA so listen out for the next appeal!
