The International School Toulouse Primary School is committed to the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) which offers an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding. It is a student-centered approach to education for children aged 3-12.
The PYP offers an education that “aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through education that builds intercultural understanding and respect” in accordance with the IB mission statement.
IST was authorised to offer the PYP in April 2018. Since then it has undergone re-evaluation in January 2021 retaining its status as an IB World School. The next scheduled re-evaluation visit is January 2026.
