Grades 10 (Y11) PE
At the International School of Toulouse (IST), some students from Grade 10 (IGCSE P.E option) prepare the International General Certificate of Secondary Education PE, led by Mrs Beghin, Mrs Tomas and Mr PEREZ who are French Nationals and who conduct the lessons in French and English. Grade 10 students (option and non-option students) have two PE practical session of 60mn each (inside and/or outside) and two PE theory session of 60mn in a classroom for the students who choose the PE option.
All IST students must have an appropriate PE kit as prescribed in the secondary PE policy document and have a medical certificate to be able to take part in sports activities.
PE is taught in the School’s purpose built facilities including a purpose built sports hall, a track, an all-weather pitch and a long jump area. Some Grade 10 students also go outside of school to do Cross-Country activity and Life-Saving in the local swimming pool.
